Description
I don't know how long I'll keep this one posted, but this is one of two pieces I attached link to the artist's comments of my picture of the Benefactor Launch. (I've had it in my stash, since last December. But have been nervous about posting it. 
)
It depicts a Type III Benefactor, performing a cursory inspection upon a newly acquired biological labor saving unit. The Type 3 is an advanced, levitation capable model, with a panoply of tentacles in lieu of land based locomotive attachments.
As you, and season three hairdo Uhura, can see, the Type III frequently makes liberal use of its additional appendages.
When at rest, the multiple arms retract into circular recesses, lining the robot's spherical hull.
AMAZON's call these robots "Golfballs".

I can only assume that the Golfballs are just incredibly fastidious and super devoted to their directive of making absolutely sure that maids aren’t concealing harmful items or materials anywhere on their person. This of course requires triple or quadruple checks of each area, with much probing and squeezing. Seems rational.
What’s not rational is that they got all them hands but they can’t lift a damn metal finger to hang up a jacket or re-arrange the scattered Bot’s Life magazines on the coffee table! Oh yeah, “These instruments are delicate and designed for inspection purposes only,” sure, sure. 🙄
